NSW Start Strong Program
The Start Strong program offers funding to approved community and mobile preschools as well as long day care (LDC) services throughout NSW. Its main goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to access 600 hours of high-quality preschool education in the year before they begin school.
About The Program

The Start Strong program aims to ensure that every child has access to 600 hours of high-quality preschool education in the year before they start school. By participating in this program, we guarantee that your child will receive the best possible preparation for their educational journey.
To be eligible for the Start Strong program, children must meet certain criteria. For community or mobile preschools, children should be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year. For long day care services, children should be at least 4 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year. Additionally, they should be attending an early childhood education program and not enrolled or registered at a school.
We understand the financial considerations families face, which is why we are dedicated to passing on fee relief to our families. By participating in the Start Strong program, we lower our daily fees to ensure affordability for all. Each preschool sets its own fee levels, so please check with us regarding our fees and how fee relief applies. To receive fee relief, simply ask our service for a declaration and consent form.
It’s important to note that preschools not receiving funding under Start Strong are not required to reduce fees. However, at Rise Early Learning, we are proud to be a part of this program and believe in making quality education accessible to all children.
