The Rise Difference

Nature Play

There is overwhelming evidence that a child’s wellbeing benefits greatly from natural and outdoor play spaces.

Our Architecturally recognised learning environments provide children with opportunities to learn about sustainability and engage in nature play. Our program also includes exploring nearby Parks and Community Gardens.

Life Skills

A large part of our daily learning in the classroom focuses on supporting the children in their development of practical life skills.

Our Life Skills Program extends upon this embedded practice by providing children with opportunities to engage in food and science experiences. We also focus on foundational Literacy, Numeracy and Creative arts skills to ensure a smooth transition to school.

Cultural Appreciation

Our Cultural and Community Appreciation Program supports children’s developing sense of identity and builds upon their growing understanding of their place within their community.

Through music, dance, and creative arts, we encourage children to communicate, problem-solve, and develop social and emotional skills. We provide Spanish language classes hosted by a qualified language organisation and children are able to engage in experiences beyond the centre, building connections to their diverse community.

Mind and Body

Our Mind and Body Program includes multi-sports classes provided by a qualified sports coach and athletic fun outside the classroom.

Freedom of movement and providing children with regular opportunities to engage in age and developmentally appropriate guided experiences supports their physical, social, emotional & cognitive development. Nutrition is essential for optimal brain development, physical growth and in preparing children for formal schooling and adult years. Our chefs prepare all meals using seasonal ingredients to meet the Caring for Children (Birth – 5 years) dietary guidelines.
